At Senytics, we are building the infrastructure for the next generation of robotics. We understand that when you connect your hardware to our cloud, you are trusting us with critical operational data. This policy outlines exactly what we collect, why we collect it, and how we protect it.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Account Information
When you register for SenHub or purchase SenCore licenses, we collect personal identifiers such as your name, email address, organization name, and billing information. This is standard procedure to manage your account and subscriptions.
1.2 Device Telemetry (SenHub)
SenHub is designed to monitor and control robotic fleets. By connecting a device to SenHub, you agree to stream certain telemetry data to our servers, which may include:
- System Health: CPU usage, memory consumption, battery levels, and temperature readings.
- Operational Logs: Error codes, warning messages, and firmware version status.
- Sensor Data: Depending on your configuration, raw or processed sensor data required for remote visualization or debugging.
Note on Sensitive Data: You have granular control over what sensor data is uploaded. We do not access camera feeds or microphone audio unless explicitly enabled by you for remote teleoperation features.
1.3 Usage Data
We collect anonymous usage statistics on how you interact with our CLI tools, IDE extensions, and web dashboard to identify bottlenecks and improve the developer experience.
2. How We Use Your Data
We use the collected data for the following purposes:
- Service Provision: To provide real-time monitoring, OTA (Over-The-Air) updates, and fleet management capabilities.
- Platform Improvement: Aggregated telemetry helps us identify common firmware crashes in SenCore and optimize resource usage across different hardware templates.
- Security: To detect anomalous behavior in connected fleets that might indicate a security breach or physical safety hazard.
3. Data Storage & Security
Security is paramount in robotics. We employ industry-standard measures to protect your data:
- Encryption: All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). Device communication uses mutual TLS (mTLS) for authentication.
- Access Control: Strict role-based access control (RBAC) ensures that only authorized personnel in your organization can access your fleet's data.
- Isolation: Enterprise customers' data is logically isolated to prevent cross-tenant data leakage.
4. Third-Party Sharing
We do not sell your data. We only share data with trusted third-party service providers necessary to run our infrastructure (e.g., cloud hosting providers like AWS/Azure, payment processors like Stripe). These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data.
5. Your Rights
You retain full ownership of the data generated by your robots. You have the right to:
- Access & Export: Download your fleet's historical telemetry data via our API.
- Deletion: Request the deletion of your account and all associated data. Note that this will render SenHub-connected devices offline.
- Opt-out: Disable optional telemetry collection, though this may limit certain "smart" features of the platform.
